The light within the Alliance is what guides most of its forces, it heals and protects those who are keen in its studying, but what of those who have lost they way and are now walking amongst us? Do they still follow the light, as the living do?

On the 12th July, the Archbishop Benedictus passed the final word to ban all Death Knights from entering the holy ground of the Cathedral in Stormwind City, until further notice. This ban arises from the infamous attacks made by Death Knights who wear the Scarlet Tabard and have caused numerous injuries and wounds within the Cathedral.

Several views collide from both the Living and the Death Knights. Riots have sprung almost immediately since the law was announced and the protectors of the light, such as the Order of the Silver Hand, have been brought in to aid with the new law. Bishop Belano Velithes, of Southshore, believed it to be the right action to take due to the "desecration and violence plaguing these sacred halls".

Figures such as Magistrate Maryanne Weston view otherwise. She says that "The light is for everyone", and many others support this view. Members of the public note that it is "Completely unnecessary and will only promote violence", but only time will tell how long this new law will last.

Of course, when we talk about this action we ask ourselves why is it that Death Knights wish to enter the Cathedral in the first place, when most people are aware of the damage the light does to the powers of the unholy and the Death Knights. When approached Death Knights revealed some of the reasons they wish to enter. One Death knight said, " I wish to pray", another the head of the Death Knight riot said "The Church can't ban us from the Cathedral, its outrageous. I haven't fought side by side with light users to be treated this way!"

We find asking ourselves, are it all worth it or are the Church acting in a sensible and correct manner over such things? Only time shall tell, and of course it did!

The following day the church, due to heavy critisim and pressure, folded and once more allowed those Death Knights who wish to enter the cathedral access stating that any violent action will be acted upon. So the powers of the Light and the taint of the unholy once more join as one, in the safety of Stormwind.

On the day of the policy's beginning, I managed to get a small interview concerning the Bishops involvement and the policy's start.

Curin: So, as you no doubt witnessed, this new policy sparked a huge public revolt. Anything to say concerning that?

Belano: "Well, First of all this was not a law we implemented, it was a temporal cathedral policy, in order to prevent the violence and desecration which has made the Cathedral and the people inside it suffer. This is, admittedly a desperate act. But it was the final straw, when a death knight aligned to the Scarlet Onslaught, managed to assault and harm innocent people three times a day. We had to show we hold zero tolerance towards hostility in the sacred grounds of the Church"

Curin: Do you think that, this may prevent those of the clergy from attending the prayers. Even going so far as to cause a boycott?

Belano: "This ban is pointed at the Death Knights, others may enter as per standard procedure"

Curin: "However the Knights may intervene in that, blocking the entrance and such.

Belano: We make sure the Death Knights do not block the entrance with our own security. However, tomorrow. The council will discuss more detailed about the situation. We will see what we will decide by then. We talked with few of the Death Knights, their views and so forth and regarding those to the meeting. Their words, that is. Not themselves."

Curin: Anything to say to those whom will be reading this in their homes, from Paladins to Death Knight's?

Belano: "Personally, I am deeply saddened that it has come to this. I will not comment what I vote during the meeting which resulted this, but! I am not only saddened by the risk of splitting up on the image of the Church could be like, but also saddened that the past half year of violence and disrespectfulness has led us to make this action.

"Not only caused by renegade death knights, but to any force who wish nothing but harm towards the church and the people it sanctifies."

Lady Magistrate, Maryanné Weston wished to give her thoughts concerning it.
"It's only my personal opinion, but the Holy Light should be available to anyone who wishes. However I can understand the reason behind this policy" - "We should try to guide them, not close them out."

Menkhar Varr wished to express his thoughts about the situation, claiming to speak on behalf of Death Knights.
"I feel it is an outrage that we should be cast out of the Cathedral. I am a free man just like anyone else in Stormwind. So why can I not pray? I may be undead, But I'm not Evil" They cannot pigeon-hole us as a group and say we cannot enter.

Archmage Numenoria Elgaer'mir of Kirin Tor - Department of Illusions Magic’s.  Stated quite clearly
"I believe it is ridiculous, too ridiculous actually. Banning an entire class of people is edging on Tyranny, What next, they'll be banning magi from the regents shops?"

Gwenthil "Lady Ice" Silverthread. Spoke in somewhat revealing clothing that:
"Personally, I am not at all interested in visiting the Cathedral. “But I can relate the death knights anger in this sudden restraints"

Leopold Proodsword said:
"There are a few rotten apples who have to spoil it for the others “If Death Knights wish to praise the Light, then they should be given a chance “We should be happy that there are people who even in death, wish to regain faith."
