the recent battles for the gates of Ulduar explorers, adventurers and all sorts
of people are travelling to Ulduar to reveal it's secrets. Though the stories
of the unshackled Old God could put a scare on most people it have not been
enough to keep adventurers away. Though Ulduar is proving to me no mere old
ruin. Each day tenfolds of adventurers are lost and never heard from again.
Explorers at the base camp outside tell stories about the horrors and perils
that those who dare push deep into Ulduar face. Several adventurers returning
to the surface have also been victim of what can only be believed to be a
curse. Unable to rest or sleep they become more and more unlike their past
self, speaking of death and horror only. Some of them have gone mad in the
middle of the night and jumped down into the endlessly deep ravines surrounding
Ulduar.
Despite the hardships progress is made each day, new facts about the titans are
uncovered and marvelous works of all sorts are found. The Herald have been
lucky enough to get an all exclusive on the notes of dwarf traveling with one
of the numerous groups of adventurers daring their way into Ulduar. We give you
an extract of this all exclusive:
"Day 1: There be nae' safe place inside, nae safe
place outside! Tha' effin' big dragon outside keeps causing havoc ta' anyone it
sees. The chief have suggested we try 'n find our way inside by headin' ta' 'eh
giant tower tha' can be spotted at the end of a long walkway. But once we made
it thur is seems ta' be guarded by a giant robot of sorts, what's worse is the
robot actin' like a effin' three yer old! It got ol' crybaby on us and had us
runnin' fer our lives with the earth shacking behind us."
"Day 3: We've set up camp inside sume ol' walkway inside Ulduar, though
we kinnae' see anyone we kin' hear heavy footsteps in the distance. 'eh same
slow rythm all 'eh time, dump, dump dump, dump. Whatever it be it does nae'
rest."
"Day 4: 'em effin' stone giants jumped us! Ah' was thinking we be
doomed fer sure, but tha' mage of 'eh party Kayte manged ta' stop ah' giant
flame rune with a wardin' spell of sume sort. After tha' it was fierce battle,
though ah' spent most 'eh time lookin' fer me libram. After fendin' 'em off we
came across a wonderfull finding though. Thur' was gigantic statues along the
walls, but they were nae' mere statues. They seemed ta' be shaped out of tiny
stars, makin' up 'em signs ye' kin' see on the wery evnin' skies."
"Day 7: After resultless days we finally found sumethin' big. The filthy
mouth paladin Derky, which we only call D stumbled upon a large round room with
a floor made outa clear glass. Tha' as we entered it seem we had been beaten
ta' it by none less thun Brann Bronzebeard himself. He was allready
investigatin' sume sorta gadget askin' him fer sume discs."
"Day 13: We're lost, this 'ere halls all look eh' same, the doors look eh'
same and it all looks eh' same. If'n tha' wasnt bad enough several of the
expedition members have been behavin' odd. Sume of them go 'round rubbin' their
head all eh' time, and lookin' over their shoulders constantly if'n like thur
was sumeoe thur. However 'eh boss insists we push on, if'n we're ta' become
rich 'n famous there's nae' turning back. "
"Day 15: The sound of lightning is nearby, though we're far far down
below ground. Whatever it is it kinnae' be guid. After loosin' one of our
members ta' 'em horrid giants yesterday spirits are low. We're getting low on
rations as well, and nae'one is sure 'bout the way up again. What's worse
however is eh' whisperin', we all hear it now. 'em people actin' looney earlier
was clearly just the begnin', thur's voices speakin' allmost like they were
inside ye'! Speakin' 'bout death and whatnot of horrid stuff."
"Day 18: Ah've never seen anythin' like it, it's both breathtakin',
fantastic 'n horrifyin' at 'eh same time. Though i've built many things as a
tinkerer ah'd never thought sumeone could build this 'ere. It's beyond
imagining though if i'd have ta' take a guess ah'd say it's either a doomsday
weapon or a sume machine fer makin' scones. As ah' took a picture of it with me
snapper ah' could feel the energy soaring throughout 'eh room. We have nae'
deared move closer yet."
"Day 21: Ah' write this in all haste. We came across a new coridor, at
first we were sure it was just another one like the others, but then 'em
paitings started shiftin'. Usually they show children, plants and all sortsa
livin' stuff. But while we walked down this hallway they started turnin'
into... into warped monsters, unspeakable horrors, the wery air is growing
thick around us. It's like the horros on the wall wants ta' leap at us and tear
our bodies apart. There's something moving, a giant shadow drawing
closer... we must get out of here!"

Ulduar continues!
