Young Gnome Makes History
Order of the Silver Hand recruits its first gnomish paladin into its ranks

On the thirteenth of October, a young gnome made history as she became the first gnomish paladin to be accepted into the Order of the Silver Hand. Riana Tesla Lightspark, previously under private tutoring by her family and Itharian Ayris, was nothing short of overjoyed at the news. Even though she was slightly shy of press attention, Riana told the Alliance Herald;
“I’m very grateful to everyone who supported me and to Commander Clavius for the acceptance. But now, all I want to do is continue studying – And to hopefully spread the goodwill of the Light. We’ll see!”
Many among the Church have been equally glad to see the gnomes branching out from their home territory and exploring new ways of life, and likewise they hope to see more following in Riana’s footsteps to place gnomekind back into the spotlight where it should be. It has also been mentioned that a few other religious gnomes who had previously been pushed aside from the process of getting official membership of the Church are now having their cases reviewed properly. One priestess of the Cathedral commented;
“I think it’s fantastic to see gnomes joining the Church, I’ve never thought it fair to separate them because of their racial roots.”
The Herald would like to give their congratulations to young Lightspark and hope that she progresses well in the Silver Hand and that many more follow her example.
